only a month shy of a year...

I'm 5 days late, but Lola will be a year old in a month. That's right, on February 10th we get to have our first birthday party.
This picture is from New Years. Lola woke up at about 11:30 - just in time to count down with everyone & then go back to sleep. I have been bad about the pictures, but I will try to have them updated soon. In the meantime, I'll be studying for the bar. (Everyone keep their fingers crossed for me!)
Bekah--I would love to have a copy of this picture. It is wonderful of all of you.
Hal, please call me. I didnt mean what I said. I do value you as a human and a friend.
Lola you are a cute girl.
I can't tell you how happy I am that you are sharing stuff with the blog. I don't always comment but I look at all of your pictures and videos. Its just wild that she's getting so big. I don't know why I expect here to always be the same size while Tru keeps changing. Tru kinda grows in spurts. She'll stay the same for months and then all of the sudden she will know all kinds of new things. How close is Lola to walking? I think Tru started walking at 14 months or something (just days after we cut her hair and she could actually see!).
I especially like the fact that you've posted some videos. I don't know how hard that is for you to do but I'd love to see more!
I don't know if Lola likes the water crayons that we sent but Tru loves them. We got an old mirror and set it up in our bedroom and let her draw on that. I think Tru just started caring about that stuff around 1 year. We couldn't trust her with markers and normal crayons requires too much force so she didn't push hard enough. I think that is why she liked the bath crayons.
As a ping pong table ...
In my last comment I asked how close Lola is to walking. Erin and I just talked about the walking in the video and Erin said that definately counts as walking. So, technically it sounds like Lola has been walkging the amount that Tru didn't do until 14 months already! What I was picturing in my head was how close she was to making walking her preferred method of getting around.
I don't really remember when that video was taken, but walking has been her preferred method for at least 2 months... I have some video of her sort of running, but it's too long to post. I'll try to zip it and send it to you.
Too long to post? How big is it? It may take a *really* long time but those sites should accept video up to like 100MB. Sometimes I leave mine uploading overnight.
